How about learn the f'n language if you want to work in the Estada Unides (or whatever the fuck). And take down all the bilingual signs. My grandparents came here LEGALLY, learned and assimilated. So can the new wave(s).

While were at it WTF with voter guides in languages other than Engish?? If you want to vote in America learn English!

I also love the ILLEGAL day laborers protesting that they have a right to congregate and solicit work!

Well, while I totally agree 100% I just have to be a bastard....do you speak Navajo, Commanche, Crowe, Blackfoot, Sioux, etc. etc....shouldn't we?

Yeah, but you weren't around when the Brits first came over and decided to give them the shaft and stake the language as English. You might've had a different outlook.

That's absolutely true. The American Indians got shafted by the settlers, no doubt BUT, did the Indians bravely fight for their world as they knew it? Yup. Are we? Fukin NOPE! Just handing off everything PC. I am all in favor of preserving cultures and being proud of your heritage as we all should. I'm proud to be from an Irish / Italian heritage but I am an American first. English is not a second language, it's the first language of this country. When I went to France I did the best I could to convey myself in France's native tongue (I slaughtered it, but tried

) I had not an ounce of arrogance that the French should speak English for me. Never mind signs and voter guides, etc in English. It's all bullshit and I'm tired of it.

I'm with ya, daddio. I remember when I lived in S FL all the Cubans (a good portion which were refugees washing up) in Miami were petitioning to change the official language to Spanish.

Where I'm at now in Jackson Heights is so Gentrified...Everything is mexican or south american in my neighborhood around roosevelt & 85th...go down towards 75th St and it becomes Little India....then theres a Filipino block. We've had trouble with illegals in our apartment...you know, one or two people rent the apartment and then 15 ppl stay there and use the showers all through the night...cold water for Pete in the morning!!
