That's absolutely true. The American Indians got shafted by the settlers, no doubt BUT, did the Indians bravely fight for their world as they knew it? Yup. Are we? Fukin NOPE! Just handing off everything PC. I am all in favor of preserving cultures and being proud of your heritage as we all should. I'm proud to be from an Irish / Italian heritage but I am an American first. English is not a second language, it's the first language of this country. ) I had not an ounce of arrogance that the French should speak English for me. Never mind signs and voter guides, etc in English. It's all bullshit and I'm tired of it.
Where I'm at now in Jackson Heights is so Gentrified...Everything is mexican or south american in my neighborhood around roosevelt & 85th...go down towards 75th St and it becomes Little India....then theres a Filipino block. We've had trouble with illegals in our apartment...you know, one or two people rent the apartment and then 15 ppl stay there and use the showers all through the night...cold water for Pete in the morning!!
