Hi again peeps,
You might have noticed I've been missing from around these parts for awhile now, but I'm back now (and glad to be here).
I had some health issues that had to be resolved (10 day hospital stay for a failing thyroid, allergy to my high blood pressure med, sleep apnea, that sort of thing), but am now done sleeping 20+ hrs. a day/living in a sodium/sleep-deprived twilight land and am back into the land of the living.
As always, you guys rock and I'm very glad to have the mental capacity back to be able to surf this board again (failing thyroid most definitely fucks with your mental perceptions to be sure!!!),
There is truely a wealth of knowledge beyond measure to be had here.

Me Mum used to say "Without your health you have nothing". I sure appreciate that more as I get older...

Welcome back. I just went through a thyroid thing, too. But they're not done with me, back for more tests and crap in May & June.
I hope my thing isn't as serious as yours was (10 days in the hospital? Yikes!) and glad to hear you're back and doing better.

Hey Southbay......did you wake up in Escher-land like I did with this stuff?
I would wake up on my back (staring straight up at the ceiling) thinking I was standing and wondering why the hell there was a light built into the wall, or why there was a ceiling fan pointed at me from the wall (also trying to figure out how come the damn floor was 8-12' down below my feet)!!!!
I'm not sure, that could've been my low sodium level causing that according to the Doctors.
I definitely know I was trippin' harder than back in the day with the blotter & purple microdot there for awhile!!!!!!
I know I was really sick, but I did sit back & enjoy the ride (what the hell else was there to do ...ya know????)
Hell, they didn't make drugs THAT good when I was growing up!!!!!!!
I guess that's one more thing that makes me a 'sick puppy' as my wife puts it.
