Yeah, I got sent an email, too. Not a whole bunch of info on the controls except it has a dual gain pot setup. Could be interesting....

more info:

Mojo has a forum and Doug Roccaforte has posted a bit of info there:

"Imagine a cross between a Vox AC30 and a Masterlead,
and you got it. Very warm midrange OD, very 60's
non master sounding even though it has one!"

"The amp is 50watts, 3-ECC83, 2-EL34. It can also run all of the other large power tubes with a rebias."

"This is my design, and just like with my product line
I don't give away any of my work.
We're not going to be posting any drawings ect...."

On the Rocc Jenelle I have (which is a channel switcher), he uses a sort of "muting" system, in that there are 2 complete preamps, and both are always active and completely independent (tubes and all). Whichever preamp you're not using is simply muted. This way, the signal never goes thru any relays, chips, or switches, and maintains tonal integrity. The only item common to both channels is the power section.
Since the 2 preamps use independent tubes, controls, etc, its really like having 2 amps in one, rather than 1 amp that just ups the gain when you switch channels. Works great!! 8) 8)

Doug is also an excellent guitar player. I believe he did all the clips on his site himself. I know he did the Rain Song as I commented on it in an email and he said "Thanks. That was me. Glad you liked it"

He's pretty local to me. I need to get down to his shop one day and say hi.

YUP!

This weekend is a dedicated bike weekend. I finally cleaned out the bad gas (more like varnish  ) in my Softail tank and carb and actually got it started. Some electrical detailing and a LOT of road grime clean up and I should be able to get her back on the road!

Was it sitting that long that the gas went bad? With the winters here ( :x ), I always use Sta-Bil in the tank, and run it long enough to get it thru the whole system. The bikes go on auto chargers, and I just leave 'em in their frozen state for the winter. (Just start them every once and a while).
Knock on wood, I've never had a problem with bad gas, or getting them started back up. Once spring hits, they get the mandatory oil change, and thats it. Another season begins!! 8) 8) 8)

That's what I love about my old Chevy sixes in my two rods -- they could care less if you run six month old gas. 2-cycle lawn mower gas in a pinch doesn't even make them bat an eye either, they chug it down oil and all. 8)

It's been so long that I winterized a bike  I didn't even think about fuel stabilizer  The carb was gummed up so bad I wound up getting another one. The oil pump was screwed up, too. That's why it sat so long. The check valve in the pump wasn't working right so it let oil collect in the crankcase and when I turned it over it had nowhere to go but out the breather and all over the garage floor.  I tried some of the "fixes" recommened by the local shop hacks that didn't do shit. When I finally got to re-building the pump I noticed that the crossover fuel line was being eaten away by the gas now turned to varnish. It literally turned the fuel line into a gooey mess. Of course once I touched it, blam, sprung a leak a 3 different spots now mixing that shit with the oil already all over the floor.   I was pissed.
