Hi guys hows it going, I hope you are all doing well this has been my first post in a long time 15 next month ( Happy Days).
I worked my ass off 2 weeks ago as it was a school holiday to save up and buy a tapedeck seperate because my music teacher has a problem with accepting cds so she wants tape.
Scored a tape deck off of ebay a real cracker Technics with HXPro and does everything i want.
Got home from school 2day took my tape deck up to my room opened up the box carefully took out my beloved tape deck saw a bit of plastic was broken off of the bottom i thought something wasn't right there but i plugged it in anyway. The thing does work BUT it only rewinds and fastforwards the tapes but doesn't play them because something has happened to the unit. So i am gonna take it into school 2moro and get my friend to fix it.

THE MORAL OF THE STORY IS DON'T TRUST DHL

You know as far as i knew until recently, there was FedEx, USPS, and UPS. Then all of the sudden DHL decided to show up. Where the hell did they come from???? Yellow trucks are everywhere!

That's a shame, I've hoping for a good alternative to UPS and FEDEX.

I'll just have to keep over packing stuff.

hi all got deck fixed from a boy at school as i needed it urgently simple fix got it running but my friend said it has obviously taken a seveir fall and broke a bit of the bottom and the problem was the play arm wasn't lifting to the tape.
The guy i got it from is really reasonable 1 i am getting insurance my money back and the bonus is i get to keep the deck how cool is that and the guy gets to keep his money we all win!
But DHL are on my hit list i am never shipping anything by them.

MY friend is the best he has saved a few amplifiers, hifi gear and CD players so we make a great team.

Onething i have learned always over package your items that way you know they'll be safe and don't use DHL.

The moral of the story ...

Make sure everything you ship is packed REALLY REALLY REALLY well. Don't trust the shipping companies...
