Man I wish I couldve been hanging out at a place like this when I was 15. At that time the internet was just developing. There were no BBS type forums. Just newsgroups.

You're absoultey right, Dan. It's just like all the gear that makes kids sound like EVH just plugging in nowadays. We had to work for tone back then (with usualyy shitty equipment). And all the learning materials around now? DVD's, CD's loopers. Remember when you had to keep picking the tone arm of the RECORD on the TURNTABLE just to hear that riff over and over? And, put your thumb on the edge to slow it down?

Kids, ahhhh when I was your age...!!!

Im not that old :) Im 24 which is just prior to all this explosion of DIY knowledge. I did have a record player when I was younger. Getting a tape player was a big deal. For the longest time I listened to music in my room on one of those huge standing rack type record player/tape deck stereos.

thanks very much guys i am kinda old fashioned for my age i mean i still buy records, tube amps, old guitar stuff kids my age just think i am stupid but hey who knows best

I gotta buy a record deck 4 ma hifi yet so i can enjoy all my vinyls btw if it weren't 4 djs records would be out but they are far superior than cds.

what did u think o the goodmans speakers NOS that is something you don't see everyday!

gonna sell 1 of my vintage solid state amps to a kid at school who wants an amp for keepin up with the drummer and this 1 would do it just so i can get my tubes and speakers!
