Independant surveys show these boards at MUCH less than 5% of you landing a job. You're wasting your time on these boards. Why are they so popular? Because they are getting paid big money by companies to post their jobs on the boards.

Oddly enough, I got my current job through Monster (been here 5yrs now) though in all fairness I submitted tons of resumes through them and every other job site and it took a really long time to land something due to the fact that the web work was just bouncing back from the big crash it had around 2000-2001....that was a rough 3yr patch, especially living in NYC. If you want a scam site...google "theladders.com" (for the 100K+ executive crowd).
