The Great Michigan Outdoors

Post by gutpile » Mon Jul 27, 2009 11:44 pm

Finally picked up my buck last weekend from my brother!! It has some good company!! The musky was caught in Lake St. Clair (54in, 32lbs) and the buck shot up north in Rogers City, MI... too bad Fred Trost isn't around anymore... I wanted it over the fireplace but settled for a corner in the basement!! :D

Nice rack gear :)

We used to get Fred's show here on PBS . Best show I remember was him watching someone pull snapping turtles out of the mud of a river and deciding he wanted no part of it. :D

I used to always enjoy watching Michigan outdoors on PBS. Being in Newfoundland, hunting is a great tradition, though it's moose and caribou here that are the big game.

I have made many, many trips in the woods...great memories.
