How much to ship a guitar to Australia?

I'm selling a guitar on ebay. Somebody asked me if I would ship to australia. I don't know HOW to ship to Australia. lol. What's the average cost to ship a guitar from the US to Australia? Whats involved? Duties?

I've had sax mouthpieces shipped from the US but not guitars.

There seems to be a $1000 Aus customs import limit here, so if the guitars selling price and the shipping end up more than $1000 Aus then there might be custom duties to be paid by the buyer.

Currently the Aussie dollar is around 90 or so US cents.
