My son Jake arrived Wednesday morning at 9:12AM, and this little bugger is cute as hell, I think those look like guitar-playin' fingers, but he's gonna have to do something about the fingernails, can't play with nails that long on your fretting hand!!

Hey JF, cute little girl there!!

So tell me, as a father three weeks into this to a brand-spankin' new one.....
When WAS the last time you picked up a guitar???

To tell you the truth not much... 10 minutes a day maybe very late at night with headsets.........

And I'm trying to finish bulding my plexi clone on top of that....when testing time arrived could not make to much noise ether. Can you imagine trying not to make noise with a 100watter Marshall in a small house? Not easy!

But I'm having so much fun with that project I don't mind it!

Have a 3 year old son also.........is idiols are Sammy Hagar and David Lee Roth he used to watch till very resently that vcr video of Van Halen greatest hits that I have 10 times a day (no joke) he is freakin out on DLR in Jump with all of is clown stuff it's so funny to watch kids they can go and watch for ever the same thing over and over. He knows all the words of all those songs on the video but we are French speaking here so he just repeat what he is earing that's really funny

Hey Flames, how are you doing now with your boy.......does he have any colics or coliques (crying for hours in some babies, stomach adaptation or something...)

My little girl Charlie have it since the 6th week and she goes from 5pm to 11pm non stop crying..........it is suppose to stop a 3 months old apparently. Can wait, tried all the tricks in the book with little result...

So far things aren't too bad with the baby, he'll get pretty cranky around seven or so every night until maybe ten, but he's not screaming, just won't settle down well. He's not much of a daytime sleeper though, he'll only sleep twenty to thirty minutes at a time and is probably awake for eight to ten hours of daylight overall.
My wife is the one who's getting really cranky, keeps getting ticked off at having to get up for her turn in the middle of the night (not at the baby, but apparently I'm not supposed to sleep so she can??) I come home from work and the house is a disaster, nothing picked up. I seem to manage to keep things picked up just fine when I've got the baby by myself. She's an ex-daycare provider, I can't believe she doesn't understand that you gotta put the baby down and let him squawk sometimes if you're going to get anything done. Works fine for me, he gets cranky and then settles in when no one comes a-runnin' at breakneck speed. DUH.

That's what happen with my son (first born are the most difficult to get adapt, both ways, him AND you...)

If you get stressed out the baby will also and react all kind of ways. And women they get so freak out easy sometimes with there first baby I guess we have to live with that, be patient.......

After 3 months in general everything get much easier.

I think things will settle in fine after a while too. I think what it really boils down to is not the baby, but the fact that we've been married eleven years with no children, and it's a real culture shock to her compared to how we're used to living, be it handling (or mishandling) money, time for ourselves as a couple, etc. Once we get everything down to a "standard" routine as much as possible and figure out how time for us fits in she'll be much better I think.

Oh believe me it's all normal what you are dealing with!!! I taugh my live was over when my son arrived. After a few weeks everything was concentrated on him only, and me well I just went and flew a kite for a while and no sex for U tonight bla bla bla. And women can get that baby bleues thing, this is really happenning and can be difficult to deal with...

Now my kids are the best thing that ever happen to me...........you'll see
