Anybody believe that friggin come-from-behind Washington pulled out of their asses last night? I went to sleep with like 5 minutes left in the game thinking it was over and I woke up the next day like 'what are you talking about Dallas lost!?' I think for skins fans Moss just paid for himself just for that game.

Ahhhh, like the old days, Dan. when the NFC East was a dogfight, Giants (LT), Skins (Riggins), Eagles (Cunningham) and Cowboys (Emmit Smith).
I have seen each one of those guys single handley decimate the other three at LEAST once.

Im quite happy with the current arrangement. That is Philly doin the decimatin every time. Let the Skins Giants and Cowboys dogfight for second place.

Sorry, Dan. With all deferences to your wealth of amp knowledge you know a NY boy can NEVER root for the Eagles!

Being a (cough) Seahawks fan I couldn't help but enjoy watching the Cowboys get beat on MNF in a simular way that they did to the 'hawks last year.

NY you know you have a TO jersey hidden in your closet. I find it amusing that we find ourselves looking up from the bottum of the NFC east right now with NY and Wash on the top! Looking at week 2 is always totally misleading but its all good. My predictions this year are the same as last year. Indianapolis vs Philadelphia.

I dont know that Im prepared to believe that Brunell engineered a 3 minute 14 point scoring spree comeback win. Something must be wrong in the world.

Redskins undefeated and Giants with a future pro bowl QB and currently the highest scoring team? NYChief is the NFC East actually getting some balls again? Dallas isnt lookin any better but fuck Dallas. Not that it hasnt been fun watching the greenmen assfuck the division loosing one division game in like 5 years but the East could actually be competitive again and maybe the toughest division once again as well. So I have to ask NYC... Which team is yours... Jets... or.... Giants?

One of the great things being transplanted here in sunny Cal is that I can now root for New York! Back home you are either one or the other and hate the other...
Mets - Yanks
Jets - Giants
Rangers - Islanders
When it was NY - NY in the World Series friends here asked me who I was rooting for. I asnswered "Game 7"! I already won!
My priorties though are...
1. Mets 2.Yanks
1. Jets 2. Chief's (they named a team after me!) 3. Giants
1. Rangers 2. (maybe... I haven't given up the hate for them yet) Islanders
Isn't being a sports fan soooo mature
NFC East IS gittin better, Dan!

Ive been in NY enough to know how the teams work thats why I asked. Good luck with your aging QB. The Giants are a friggin Jersey team really. Jersey loves the Giants even people down in the Jersey suburbs of Philly. Go figure. Your Chiefs really had a great first half on Sunday.. (tries not to laugh...) We'll know if Wash and NYG are legit this month when Philly plays them both after the by.
Do you root for any Cal teams? Oakland? SF? SD? Id go with SD this year.

San Fran!!!
They're hurtin' this year. I'm not seeing any light at the end of the tunnell. O is bad, d is bad. Alex Smith isn't going to fix anything. They just don't have an offensive line or d line, still dwelling in salary cap hell. At least my AFC team the Broncos are playing well. Jake is making good decisions and the D is healthy. We got the 'skins this week. I think we got this one.

Yeah I think you got that one. The Skins D is really really good but noone talks about the fact that their O is like the lowest scoring in the league.
After our bye the Eagles have San Diego, Denver then Washington and NYG. What a month that'll be. You better hope we win in SD. You dont want Philly commin into MH fresh from a loss. The past couple years every game after an eagles loss has been like a 43-3 whompin.
I dont think SF is putting in Smith to fix anything. They know theyre out of it kind of like the Coughlin putting in Eli Manning last year though people thought Warner should stay in and try to make a playoff run. Its a good thing those dumbasses didnt call the shots because even if they made the post season they werent going anywhere and look at how well little Manning is learning.

HAH!
Hey don't be making fun of my man Testaverde. He was a freshman in my HS when I was a senior. They finally figured out how to motivate him. His older sister Joanne (my age) can still kick his ass. And she guaranteed that he better not come home with a loss. We'll do great!
Yeah, isn't too stooopit that the NEW YORK Giants and the NEW YORK Jets both play in Jersey (ewwww) and the NEW YORK Jets play in GIANTS stadium. How embarassing. You know how they save money don't cha? The little cart that drives around says Jets one side and Giants on the other. That's why iit's only ever going in one direction on camera!
"Do you root for any Cal teams? Oakland? SF? SD?"
Sure! Every week! Every week I root that they get their ass handed to them! (I have a soft spot for San Fran becuase that had class with Joe)

He may wind up reanacting what Doug Flute did with SD a few years ago and surprise a lot of people.
