LOL Well I got sick of TGP's extensive no-can-do list.... so I wrote the admin an email told him to stick it

I WAS a paying member, fuck that shit.... I am to pay money to be a member and receive a warning or banning from a youtube link of a political figure that WASN'T speaking about politics in the youtube vide and your banned..., or defending yourself against a troll, calling you out ...call them a censored name and your banned.... Make a joke about the strict bannings.... and your banned or get a warning... Screw them...

Useless site anyway.... the busiest topics there are in the pub where fucked up dudes like Canon Kitty (Kaboom Meow) - I am not even fucking joking! give ATTITUDE because they think Edward Van Halen is a hack and or over-rated.... or really weird crap, like guys honestly asking if anyone's else's penis has the same issue or their friends car got broken into or TROLL-like threads like: Jimi Hendrix ? Cary, you're back in Canada? I thought you were in the Far East somewhere?

As for TGP, it has changed since it grew from 2800 members in 2003 to 74,000 it has now. There has been a huge influx of idiots since HC had their meltdown, and of course, troll/political/non gear threads abound in the PUB, which is why I hardly ever venture there.

But the no politics or "potentially" politics related threads are a specific no-no in the rules you agreed to. Same for religion, etc.

You also know better than to respond to troll threads. Just post a troll pic with their quoted reply if you have to and move on.

Come on, you know that there are all kinds of self appointed gurus on the net, and trolls...TGP is no different, they're in every forum.

As far as I've seen, (thankfully) this forum seems to be less susceptible to trolling and douchebags. Look... EVERYONE has their moments of emotional explosion... I've yet to see anyone thats immune to THAT, but like in ANY valid relationship, you apologize, your "partner" understands and accepts, and the world moves on.

Tonight, at dinner, my wife and I had this very discussion about "internet warriors" and how folks will say shit when hiding behind a keyboard (or a phone text) that they would NEVER say face to face. "Wireless" is an odd form of interaction that seems to remove the ability to have empathy for the feelings of the person on the other side of our verbal venom... most likely a person that we wouldnt hesitate to have a drink or a dinner with, should they be our neighbor or acquaintance.

Im not really familiar with TGP, but some of the shit shooting on HC is unbelievable... one step short of the absolute mayhem in the YouTube comments, which to me, might as well be called "VentYourDysfunction-Tube". Its like all-out warfare over there.

From what I've seen, TGP is full of garbage.

Metroamp is not immune to the sort of things that happen at TGP, it's just that Metroamp is smaller in members.
