Hi Folks,
I normally wouldn't burden everyone with this, but I have made a lot of commitments to people to get panels done and I take my commitments very seriously even if I have fallen horribly behind in them in the past few months.

This past weekend, my family has been struck by a horrible tragedy. My wife of 16 years unexpectantly passed away. We have three young kids, twins at 9 and an 11 YO. As you might imagine, this has turned our life upside down and I can't think beyond the next few hours right now. I also cannot prioritize anything but my kids.

I had mentioned to several folks that I planned to make 50W back panels for Brian and Steve's chassis over the holiday. I would say that this is no longer possible. I hope to find the time to drill some more fronts and send them to Valvestorm. This is exactly the sort of mind-numbing distraction I could really use right now. He may still have some on hand already. I don't think I can even think about trying to take on new projects for the time being. Thanks for everyone's understanding on this.

Cheers,
Rich

Thats it in a nutshell. Amps, guitars, financial obligations, etc all are secondary when this aspect of life rears its head. Needless to say, the other priority is yourself... you have to keep YOU healthy and functioning FOR your kids. They need you now more than ever.

Prayers said for you and your family, Rich.

So sorry to hear of your loss Rich. I can't imagine what you and yours must be going through right now. But like Filly said, make sure to take care of yourself too. I know it's hard to try and take a step back when children are depending on you to hold things together, but you need to make sure you can cope for the sake of all of you.
Hoping you manage to find some peace over the Christmas period, and that you can eventually rebuild your lives and be happy.

My love goes out to you and yours.
