Blow Out Super Bowl

Got to hand it to the Seahawks. They played fearlessly. Wilson is one heck of a quarterback. Their secondary shut down the passing game. Their running game was on. They fired on all cylinders. I think that bad hike/safety just set a bad tone from the start.

The SB was boring, :palm: but that Metro thread on RT wasn't.

That's what I thought- and Joe Namath even miscued the coin flip right before that...! I like Denver, but Seattle clearly was kicking ass, so I stopped watching at halftime to do some homework... Good job, Seattle! :jimi:

For what he does, Bruno Mars is kick ass. I like that 'reggae/Police/No Doubt' vibe he has on certain songs

I was just reading an article where one of the Seahawk players claimed they figured out Manning's hand signals in the 1st quarter.

I was watching Letterman last night. He claims Denver will make a statement about what went wrong as soon as they can find the black box.

My dad is a football fanatic, and has been singing the praises of Wilson for a couple years. He said the Seahawks wouldn't be beat at home, that he (Wilson) has the talent, that if he played to his potential could go down at the end of his career as the best of all time. He's definitely off to a good start. He called the blowout. I thought he was nuts, and the Broncos were going to win, and that the wide receivers wouldn't be manhandled like the 49rs were 2 weeks previous. Glad I didn't bet on this game.

The QB for Greenbay is no slouch either.

I didnt keep up with much this past season, just a couple games and 'overview' shows, via watching in restaurants/sports bars, etc. The one team that seemed to be the one with the potential to possibly upset Seattle at home was the Panthers. Not saying they would have, only that the 'match ups' were there for a very competative game.
