Great Vacuum Tube amp Youtube Channel

"Uncle Doug" on youtube has a gift for explaining electronics simply. These two short videos are the most easy to follow along explanations I have ever seen on the basics of how a guitar tube amp takes the signal from the guitar to the speaker. Even for those of us who are knowledgeable, this gives us a good way of explaining to others. His analogies simplify it all to popcorn, chain link fences, and bouncers. I love it.

These would have been a great refresher video for the Metroamp reference CD back on my first kit build

These are a really valuable tool. I used one built on a 2x4 when firing up an old build that had been sitting. I like his square base better.

I like his NFB and PI video. I always wondered why the second plate fed PI had the 82k PLate Resister while the 1st grid fed had the usual 100k. It makes sense now.
His take on it was kinda funny. He thought, " Why are they being mean to that first plate'" silly
