I do like the original stuff too but to my mind some of this is really heavy rock or like proto-metal but excellent none the less.

I especially like your choices of UFO, Machine Head and Zep II. Blackmore, Schenker and Page are masters.

Whitesnake and Def Leppard are more like hard than heavy for me, but for sure I might be so wrong
