I ride a 1200 Sportster; hence, my moniker. Anyone else into motorcycles?

Hey Flames,

I hear ya man. I like cars, guitars, cigars, chicks, amps, and bikes. The order of preference depends upon my wants and needs at the time. My best friend, that I will ever have in this life, and I built a hobby stocker and raced it for a season the year that we graduated high school. I'm not going to say the year, but Darryl Waltrip was running at the same track at the same time in the pro-stock division.

No bike just now, but a huge bike nut. Love road-racing, particularly World Super Bike. Rice Burners and Pasta Rockets doin' 85 mph thru the corners with the riders elbow draggin the tarmac. There were races last weekend in Australia--they'll be on Speed tomorrow afternoon.

I'd like to get a new Triumph Thruxton. Perhaps a late-model Speed Triple (don't like the lines of the new one).

If they were fallin' from the sky, I'd love a Ducati 996. Drain all the fluids out and park it in my living room. Most beautiful thing on two wheels. Most uncomfortable also, it seems, which is why it'd be parked.

I have an ironhead sporty motor that I built a rigid frame around. Later I picked up a '48 or '49 springer that was extended 5" over a long time ago.

I'll scan some pics.

The bad news is that I was so busy playing and starting metroamp that I didn't ride for two seasons. I need some cylinder work done and I have a new blank fender to cut and paint. Maybe this year, hard to say with the baby on the way.

I'm an adrenaline junky. I've got a pilots license and a suzuki dl-1000 v-strom. The motorcycle is way more fun. Of course hauling the 4x12 on the bike is a bit tricky......
