NIGHTMARE!

Post by Country Boy Shane » Sun Oct 24, 2004 12:16 pm

Well guys, i can safely say that i had one of the worst dreams ever last night. I had this crazy dream that i was playin' my twanger through my SuperLead, then in mere seconds, my amp caught on fire! I totally freaked out at the situation. I remember my mind going into "slow-mo" mode and watching all the components melt and get blackened in a firely mess. I woke up with a short "AH!", but then i just realized it was a dream - thank God.

No, I'm still stuck with the one where I'm back in high school, don't have my homework done and can't remember my locker com.
Then I look up and the hallway is a mile long and completely empty.

Maybe I could use some therapy? Nah, I can see this dream just means that I have a need to suceed and a fear of failure.

Good thing this is the off topic area.

I have this recurring dream where I'm driving, and I come to an intersection/stop sign etc, and I can't push the brake pedal hard enough to stop. Don't know what the hell that means, it happened again last night.
Also the occasional College dream where I've skipped all my classes, it's finals, I don't have a clue and my Folks are gonna' freak cause they're footin' the bill.

I had this one that my 2 front teeth shattered. I've had a lot of bonding work on them because of chips from schooltime activities and gym class. Some people say that this means that i'm changing from an adolescent point in life to a one of adulthood, but i just say that I love my teeth too damn much!!!!

I'm really screwed then... I've had this one since 10th grade.

I am in a fight, but when I punch, something is holding my fists back - and i just keep trying to punch with no success, yet I am able to dodge my opponents fury. It feels as though I am punching with bungee cords hooked to me, its so frustrating, and it always wakes me up and when I wake, i'm always on my stomach (i never sleep on my stomach) SO WEIRD.

What does this all mean?!?

Who's the in-house Ms. Clio (or other psychic)?

I actually think that d00d is pretty cool. However, his long time companion, Oprah is one hell of an opposite. Do you remember hearing about that show where she gave everyone in her audience a $30,000 Pontiac?! What's totally gay is that all those people are gonna have to pay taxes on their brand new car. So in other words, Oprah has just handed you $10,000 in tax payments!!

When you are awarded prizes like that they fall under the capital gains tax bracket. Which is roughly 31-32% of the total award value amount.

Im sorry Capital Gains tax rate for induviduals is 28% not the higher figure I posted earlier. Thats still almost a third of the value of the item. Still a hefty chunk o change for a free car.

It's still a pretty sweet deal.
You walk away with a $30K car for $10k.
Or.... You sell it for say, 25k and walk away with $15k in your pocket.

I don't know about you Chaps, but if I had $15k tossed my way, I'd be on fuckin' "Holiday" having a beer drinkers tour of Europe. :D
