Plexiglass Soundpanels

Post by Herec » Mon Oct 16, 2006 1:43 pm

Asked the plexi palace forum this...

How well do those plexiglass sound panels work? The ones you stick in front of the cabinet. I don't mind carrying them around. Maybe those combined with turning the cabinet and maybe some other things I could run a superlead flat out in most situations with a drummer.

I think it was "Nickcha" that had some to put in front of his half stack, he's a member both here and at PP under that member name.......look him up in the member list and try PM'ing him maybe.
I've often been curious about the plexi baffle route, so please share any insights you might get from him with all of us!!

They work quite nice actually... used to face the amp/combo toward the wall. Not any more...
The people in the front are spared those piercing frequencies and the room fills in nice.
I actually find myself being able to turn up a little more getting that bite I like without "sounding" louder...
