Appice just released "Guitar Zeus" an LP featuring guest guitar players. The songs are not bad for an "aging" legend

The last song is Segal and Duncan playing a blues. It's, ummmm, not good (and mercifully short). I expected Duncan to be better though.

Some of the other guys really rip. Check it out....you might recognize some of 'em!

Zakk Wylde - Guitar
Warren DeMartini - Guitar
Richie Sambora - Guitar
Denny Laine - Guitar
Ted Nugent - Guitar
Neal Schon - Guitar
C.C. DeVille - Guitar
Bruce Kulick - Guitar
Ty Tabor - Guitar
Dweezil Zappa - Guitar
Vivian Campbell - Guitar
Kenji Kitajima - Guitar
Paul Gilbert - Guitar
Seymour Duncan - Guitar
Steven Seagal - Guitar
John McEnroe - Guitar
Steve Salas - Guitar

Is that John McEnroe as in the tennis guy? I certainly hope not.

Cool to see Ty Tabor. King's X has always been one of my favorites.

Yes, I believe it is. I read somewhere he owns one of the few original lefty '58-'60 sunburst LP Standards.

I picked this up on eMusic a couple of weeks ago. A nice variety of styles, not only in playing, but song composition.
For the most part, Segal kicks ass (just not on guitar!! Hey Steven, don't quit your day job!!).

It is pretty sad, huh? Especially after that piece in Vintage Guitar and the bitchin' axes he owns.

One of the promoters at one of the blues festivals told us that he buys his stage time.

All those guitars and playing in front of alot of people. I suppose next he'll buy the Green/Moore LP and some time on VH1 for a special about how great of a guitar player he is.

As usual talent isn't always required if you have a fat enough bank account.
