My wife informed me today that she wants to go ahead with plans to add on to our house. Which means my next build will be further delayed

since I am a tight ass and will do most of it myself.

so..... Do I go ahead now and throw 7 or 8 builds from George into the homeloan now? or go ahead and try to come in under to play it safe and get them then?
Get rid of some Brushed nickle fixtures here and some cheaper tile there,
Maybe I could get george to mark the box's "plumbing part"
oh well.... she does the books anyway, nice dream though huh

Being In construction for some 18yrs.. I understand your deliema..However
going the cheap route on building materials will only cause you grief later..
Do it once and do it right so you dont have to jepordize future Metro builds..

you are absolutely right! like you my dad has been building houses for 35+ years so I wouldnt be able to skimp on the materials even if I wanted to. However wiring and Plumbing I can handle, so some money saved there on labor not to mention getting contractor prices.
Any extra money will probably go to cutains, dishes, stupid crap like that

But since we are adding a bathroom and expanding kitchen (most expensive projects to do) I doubt there will be any extra money.

7-8 builds from George? You're gonna singlehandedly make the man rich

! All kidding aside though... Why not compromise and pad one amp build in the with home loan? This way your lovely wife is happy because you have a new addition to your house, and you are not left out in the cold without something that makes you happy.
I just suggested it because that would be the only type of compromise that my wife would agree to if I was in the same situation you are. Actually I think that I will be there sometime later next year. Not only that, but I think that I might have to have half of my foundation leveled

oh I know, I was just dreamin

Butt... you are right, one build will be padded into the addition for damn sure

well and maybe another 4x12, well i'll need a UA then, and.....

yeah like I say one build will be factored in
I'll have to get started soon though cause nothin gets in the road of my spring walleye fishing, except maybe an amp build
