This sucks ass. I hate being stuck in the house. At least I live on a state route and they keep it plowed 'fairly' well.

Where in the midwest are you?

Central Iowa lucked out and didn't get the sleet and freezing rain we were promised a couple of days ago. But it's ass cold..........at least compared to temps in the 60's on Tuesday, now it's 15 degrees F!!!!!

It only took me an hour to get to work this morning. Of course, usually it takes me 15 minutes... :x

Near Peoria, IL.

Started shoveling at 6am this morning. My wife is flying to Shanghai today out of Chicago at 10am  Thats how I ended up freezing my rear off digging out at dawn. Luckily I didn't have to take her to the airport.

Last thing I said to her was "see you tonight" :D

My driveway is gravel and at least 100 feet long.

I think my neighbor has a tractor and a plow that will clear all this nose candy out...

It's damn near 80F right now. I was out feeding the animals and was sweating my ass off.
Of course down here in SoCal when the temp drops below 65F people start breaking out parkas and thermal underwear.

No shit, Mike. When I first moved to Huntington Beach in Feb '94 it was the worst winter we were having in NY in ten years. My friends would call and leave messages "Where are ya? At the f'n beach? It's 3 degrees and 3 feet of snow in Elmont. F you!!!". I had then convinced on was living on the set of Babewatch!

One night I was sitting on my apartment patio wearing a sweat shirt and sweats, playing my acoustic. It was like 65. The natives were walking by with their snow suits zipped up to their chins. Astonished I was outside they would ask "Aren't you ffffffffffreezing???". I said shit, this is spring where I grew up.
