The Mark Easterling appreciation thread

"Mark Easterling" is the guitarist for 'Steve Azar'..who is the opening act for Bob Seger on his current tour.
I had the pleasure of hearing Mark play for the 1st time Nov 10 06' at the Dow Event Centre in Saginaw, Mi and I was completely blown away by his killer slide work, overall playing and tone. A very expressive player...the type who can take one or 2 notes played a certain way, and say more with those 2 notes than about anyone I have heard in a LONG time.
If you get a chance, pick up Steve Azar's new CD, and especially check out track # 11..."Flatlands".
Anyway, I was fortunate enough to also have the opportunity to meet Mark several weeks later at George's shop. Great down to earth guy.
Thank you Bob for having these guys as your opening act.
And to VG....here's to you for the invite!!!!
