Thanks For Being My Friends All At Metro!!

Post by yngwie308 » Thu Apr 12, 2007 3:30 am

It is always a great feeling to log in here and talk with people that I have never met but feel that I have known for a long time.I feel a real friendship and mutual admiration for all of our diverse talents which are contributed to make this the best forum out there.
It really means a lot to me the encouragement I have recieved here concerning my various woes, and I really feel like I can contribute some of these many years of dedicating myself to the electric guitar and amplifier and enjoy disscussing our mutual love of this great guitar/amp world that George has managed to create for us all.
I have no real friends here in Phoenix and hopefully when George makes his move to either Nashville or Austin,we can all get together for our own Metropoulos Amp Convention/Tone fest and have a fantastic time,I would consider this on a par with a trip to Disneyland for me!!
Again thank you to all who have contributed kind words to me and making me feel welcome,it really makes a huge difference to an old guy like me! :)

Likewise Dave. I love all the info you bring to the forums, and the passion that you do it with.

Yes Dave, your stories about your gear past and present and music experiences are all a very enjoyable read.

I feel the same about the forum.

God Bless.

I love you man!!! :D

It cool to have a place were everyone is on the same page as far as the type of tones we are looking for.Localy most of the guys around here are Line 6 guys.No place to really learn about tubes and those things that can help you achieve "THAT" tone.I've been playing for 12-13yrs now but till about 2yrs ago thought those record tones were the result of amazing guitar techs and voodoo mods to amps and guitars.Who knew there was more to tone teaking besides the three Seymour Duncans The Friend offers.

I'm feeling the love.. :D ,sincerely it is great to have a home away from home.I am big on this Metro amp reunion or convention, whatever you call it!This would be most awesome and can't wait until it happens.
Still never saw any Metro demo from Tone fest.let's hope there is video evidence from N.J.,I mean New York's Amp show
This still is a great place to be,and you guys are why!! :)
