Damn, how the hell did she get out?

Hey, fill, you're right. In my crowd everybody were brothers and everybody's Mom's were ours, too. How many times did you walk into a bud's house (wiyhout knockin') and go straight to the fridge while shouting out "Hey Ma, whattta we got to eat?"

We hit a good ride yesterday, too. Is the Tuesday night at Nathan's still happening? Where was that, Oceanside?

Yeah, and when you went to the fridge, from some other room you'd ALWAYS hear, "DONT DRINK THE MILK FROM THE BOTTLE!!! USE A GLASS!!!" (dont know how they always knew that... gotta be that "mom radar"). Man, back in the day, there was NOTHIN' like the old neighborhood. Everybody knew everybody. We were so tight, we practically shit together. (how many "green chicks" got passed around between the boys?? Well, if they werent "green" you had less chance of gettin' 'em in the first place, so you had to give 'em enuf of the shit you stole from dads cabinet to get em' green. Im SURE you can relate!!  8) ) BTW, they stopped Nathans (Oceanside) on tuesday nights for a few years (neighbor complaints), but I hear its starting up again. The cops really cracked down hard on that for a while. They used to wait by the entrance with decible meters. If you had ANYTHING beside stock pipes on your bike, you got a ticket. Guys just got tired of going there. They have a nice get-together at the Bellmore train station on Friday nights, so me and the wife hit that one occasionally. 8) 8)

Yeah, there was a pair of neighborhood girls who got around. When my turn finally came she said "Wait, stop, you don't think I'm a slut or anything do you?" I asked "What? Waddddaya think that I"M a slut????"

And, my Mom also knew from the other room when I was dunking fresh Italian bread in the simmering "gravy"...man, THAT I miss...

They started that noise abatement shit here, too. Just the other day we were out with the HOG club going to breakfast. Cops pulled all 25 of us over at the same f'n time to hand out "warnings" that they will start issuing summones for excessive noise over the city ordinance of 84db at 3 feet (?). They then offered to measure our bikes to get a feel for where we were. I "won" with my 95" / pro pipe 2 into 1 at 102db but peaked at 126db when it bacfired at 3000 rpm 8) . We had a bone stock dresser in the group. He measured 88db and would have been cited...

ME??? Think you're a SLUT??? Oh, no, honey... you're the most classy girl in the car right now... (now, when I hook up with Vince later, the description MIGHT change... ) And speaking of dunking the fresh Italian bread (semolina... mmmm) HOW THE HELL DID THEY KNOW WE WERE DOING THAT???? I mean, I used to open that pot SO quietly, it wouldnt even wake up the dog, yet she ALWAYS knew. But that was the ritual. Open the pot, dunk the bread while mom yelled at you to stop, tell her "ok, Ma, I wont do it anymore", and then continue with the dunking. I used to tell my mom that she should start yelling if I DIDNT dunk the bread. Her response was to get the wooden spoon and chase me around the yard. Ohhh, that wooden spoon. The French had the guillotine, the Chinese shove bamboo under your fingernails, Florida has "old sparky", and the Italians have the wooden spoon. I wouldnt give up those memories for a million bucks, Chief. :D :D 8) 8)

I hate to rub it in, Chief, but the Deli on the corner of Rockaway Ave, and Wheeler Ave in Valley Stream has some of the most friggin' beautiful semolina rolls you've ever seen... Early in the AM on Thursday, Ill be on the bike in that area, and Ill stop there and have one (with butter, and a hot cup of joe, of course) in your name. If your ears start burning, around 4am, your time, you'll know why!!! :D :D 8) 8) (if you listen real hard, toward the east, you'll hear a voice yelling, "come on, Chief... fire that Hog up... we're headin' out!!!)
