I remember getting Yngwies demo tape in 83 and shitting my pants.
listened to him from alacatraz to his solo work.

the man can play the shiat out of the instrument.

A lot of times I share information from a certain Malmsteen forum and it is private so I cannot remote link some data, meaning that I sometimes have to cut and paste, but I am willing to limit the size of my posts.

It is hard for me to rail in my creative juices, as I enjoy writing, not really a two sentence guy, so this newer abbreviated format is something to get used to  .
Basically what is happening on the Malmsteen scene at the monent is awaiting the new album and then following tour.
Also for you die hard Malmsteen dilettantes, we hear the maestro is planning on buying a new Ferrari, so we can only quess what that will be.
The factory should give him one, gratis, for all the free advertising he has given them over the years, Ferrari stickers on his guitars and rack, ect.
There has been much buzz about clones of the 1971 MK II era 50 watt, the 'Malmsteen Edition' signature head, I pretty much alienated myself at malmsteen.org/forum (hard to believe I know   ), secondary to my relentless advocacy of George's Metro amps, it seemed simple to me, buy the best you can, it is a no brainer to us, but there has been a change of the guard recently there, so I am pretty much staying away and I feel the scheme of things is pushing me to do my own thing, perhaps doing some more professional writing, once I learn how to type correctly, I did get an A+ in College English in nursing school, and hope to reeducate my self, that was over 12 years ago though.
The deal with me is, it is hard to accept a Marshall/Metro that requires pedals, but for exacting Malmsteen tone, that is a prerequisite.'Metal front heads sound fairly well on their own as well though.
A lot of these Malmsteen hard core guys, want heads to come with PPIV or even London Power Scaling to come on board, so dream on.
Basically there is technique, which is the hardest thing to buy  .
But there is definitely a resurgance in 50 watt interest across the board.

As there is no edit function, apologies for misspelling, I would like to thank everyone here at Metro forum for welcoming me and for all your interest in Malmsteen Topics, I am encouraged by all your words.
Thanks :)

FFFFUUUUCCCCKKKK!!!!! I had heard Yng could rip down a blues, but that kinda blindsided me. Ive seen the G-3 vid where him, Satch and Steve Vai cover Voodoo Child, but that was not as good as the clip Rockstah put up. MAN, that shit made me wake up the wife just to show her. She was not as impressed as I was. Wait a minute, somethin's wrong... the key wont unlock the door... :? :? (well thats alright, I still got my guitar...) 8) 8)
