Yeah, but Pete, the Brits arent around anymore, and for all practical purposes, neither are the Indians. No doubt they've been given the short end of the stick, but so has just about every other culture at one time or another.
My motto: "Yesterday is old news, and tomorrows news is speculation... lets deal with NOW".
We have a lot more pressing issues that need to be dealt with than worrying about who's hand needs to be held cause of some shit that happened 5 generations ago, cause 5 generations from NOW isnt gonna happen if we continually cow-tow to all this unimportant bullshit.
People need to get over this "getting even", and "oh recognize me" shit, and deal with what the fuck is happening TODAY, in an intelligent manner, to make the future something young people will be grateful for, not something they'll hate us for.
I could give a SHIT less if somebody feels dissed cause we speak english here, and they dont understand it. In the big picture, that is such small fucking potatoes, it not even funny.

Here's the short list:
DMV forms in 2 different languages: Unimportant. Bring someone with you that speaks English.
If we ignore the 2 language DMV forms (which stupidly, we're NOT doing)? Result: people have a reason to whine (again).

Global warming: Important. Do something about it NOW, or all the 2 language DMV forms can be used to build fires on top of the mountains we'll inhabit after 95% of the earths surface becomes water.
If we ignore global warming (which stupidly, we ARE doing)? Result: in 150 years or so, our great grandkids have no planet to live on.

Its a matter of priority, friends.

OK, now IM done.

Have some pride, learn the language, go to school, get a job, work hard, contribute to society and don't ask for any handouts. Is that too hard? I guess so. Oh, and if you can't afford kids DON'T HAVE THEM!

+1000

We did foster care for a couple of kids. They had big time problems cause mommy and daddy were too stupid and young to give a shit about them.
My wife and I later found out that wasnt their first kids and not there last. I think they had a total of 5 which they had their parental rights severed and are permanently in the "system". The kids that had them were in there early 20's. I guess it's cheaper than rubbers.

With this world the way it is, I think Two kids per family and anymore you lose a deduction or pay some sort of penalty. I know many people came from big families in the past but times change.

Even worse than multiple kids, it's the really poor moral and parenting values apparent in today's parents that I abhor. The American dream is no longer just dad working and mom staying at home.

It's both parents working, trying to afford a house, tuition, daycare, food, two car payments, credit cards and somehow being able to explain to little Susie and Johnny that mixing meth in the bathtub is not "standard procedure".

Which is why I never had/wanted/sired any kids. Yeah, with the women I have now it would have worked, but not at age 49...so, there you go, I got my tubes cut, no pill, no condoms, no rugrats.

And yes, it's true, I paid to have four little Scumbags aborted in the 80's. That's what I call responsible birth control...

Fuckin' word up.
PS-Read Chiefs last line 100 times on the way to getting a vasectomy if you cant afford kids. Im getting sick and tired of my taxes paying for some jackass thats saying "Nobody's gonna tell ME I cant have 10 kids if I want them".
Recently I had an order to turn off a house that had an outstanding water bill of over $2k. The house outside looked like shit, and the woman there came outside telling me to NOT shut it off, cause social services pays the bills. I went in the house while she called SS. They had a big flat screen TV, leather furniture, and brand new rugs and appliances. These POS have figured out a system where they collect 4 welfare checks, and do NOTHING besides pump out kids, and spend all their money on themselves.
In the same neighborhood, I'VE bought a thirsty kid a soda at the deli, while mom was sitting there getting drunk with the next guy she was gonna sleep with.
Fucking sickening.

And it's great for my wife, too. No pills to take, and nothing to inhibit those "why don't we do it in the road" moments, which would be killed fumbling for a condom...

Sure, the first four days after the vasectomy sucked, but she stayed home on Friday & Monday, and by Tuesday we were testing out the doctor's handiwork.

Needless to say...heh heh...he did good. LOL

I love the "I can't use birth control because of my religion" excuse. I'll bet the same religion doesn't preach that humping out of wedlock is OK....

My wife and I tried for years to have kids, I guess I couldnt get the job done. luckily We decided to adopt and got a great baby girl from a couple of college kids that "got in trouble" Best thing that ever happened in my life! We thought about fertility drugs but decided not after another couple we know went that route. They already had one and wanted another well they got triplets! Now they are divorced and on welfare  Then you see on tv about the couples who used fertility drugs and ended up with six kids struggling to make things work. There are plenty of kids out there to fill the nitch. Our daughter is 7 now and I couldnt imagine missing out on her if we had one of our own.

I have an idea... If you are on walfare and have more than two kids it would be mandatory to sit in some sort of chair that renders you steril

Thats awesome about adopting your daughter, MW. I have MUCH respect for anyone that does that. IMO, you've done one of the most noble, respectable and NEEDED things any person can do: taken a child in such need and giving them a home (and a chance to have a loving family environment) in the face of SUCH adversity. Its hard for me to put into words how much I respect that. You've corrected one of the worlds greatest indiscretions, and contributed to society in one of the most meaningful ways that its possible to do that. That is SUCH a beautiful thing to do. That little girl is very lucky to have someone as thoughtful and selfless as you and your wife.

The sterility chair... maybe they should install them incognito in some "select" Junior Highschools BEFORE the problem escalates out of control!!
(Well, in this day and age, maybe they should start putting them in 3rd grade classes.
Kids these days are starting to have "indoor activities" WAAAY sooner than we did.  )

+1 on what fill said. I couldn't say that nearly as eloquent.

Fuck the PC shit, "undocumented workers"??? BULLFUKINSHIT.

It's ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS. I hold nothing against anybody who wants to come here legally. Most of us are from some line of immigrants but the ILLEGAL parts is just that....criminal.

I tell you what. My wife is from the Philippines and we went through this whole K-1 fiancee visa and immigration process. If you've never gone through it, it's such a drawn-out, expensive pain in the ass of process so I have the attitude like "Fuck man, we had to jump through hoops for your greencard and these people just skate on through and live under the radar." What pisses me off royally about my neighborhood is you've got guys like pushers on the street as you walk by, "Social...Social"...trying to sell fake social security cards. Folks litter without thinking twice about it. It's like anything...when you work hard for something, you tend to respect it...when you have it easy, you don't think twice about it.
