Metroamp going the NY Amp Show this weekend!
We'll be leaving the shop Friday at 6AM heading for the amp show.
Aaron will be here to ship orders and answer the phone.
I expect to get home late Sunday night or early Monday morning. So it might lunch time before Fido, Curt and I get here.
Everyone is welcome to come join us. Info here:

Chad is taking his new recorder and I'll have my camera, so he hope to get some audio and video to post.

HEY!!!!
Just because the New YORK Gaints (Superbowl Champs, BTW ) and the New YORK Jets play in New Jersey doesn't mean that the New YORK Amp Show being held in New JERSEY should be the New JERSEY Amp Show now, does it?
NY and NJ typically enjoy a Hatfield - McCoy kind of relationship....

Immitation is the sincerest form of flattery?...NitroLiq wrote:Geez, Bayonne, NJ is like something out of a mob movie....the natives sound more Brooklyn than Brooklynites. Bigger Hair...longer finger nails...thicker accents...crazy.

Hah....of all the things to imitate, that'd be pretty low on the list! I'll ping Fill and mention it to him. I'm actually leaving early straight from work today to meet up with a buddy and train it out there (I may even look respectable what with the work clothes and everything! ) Btw, you'll dig this. My buddy owns one of Buck Dharma's early 100w metal panels.NY Chief wrote:Immitation is the sincerest form of flattery?...

Cool! What's that amp sound like?
I played out of one of Ace Frehley's 100 watters at Backstreet Studios in the Bronx one day. Sounded awesome.

It's ok. Most Brooklynites these days sound like they're from SoCal, anyway...you'd fit right in!

Probably like a an early 100w 70s metal panel!...well, you asked. I haven't heard it. He's a grad student here from the Netherlands and his amp is back home.

Hey, if that amp is a REAL metal panel you should be able to hear it in Queens when he's playing it in the Netherlands!
