Here's that SVT I was working on

Finally got around to finishing this beast. It needed lots of burnt wires replaced. Not to mention the power transformer. OUCH!

I'm taking it to the gig tonight to let my bass player put it through it's paces. That's like an early Christmas present for him. Lucky guy.

OH BOY! How long before I can order the replacement (non-pc) board kit for my old pre-Magnavox SVT? This looks like a job for METROAMP!

(Nothing better than a novice poking around inside an old SVT, right?!?
Has enough voltage to blow me all the way back to Linden, New Jersey!
I'd LOVE to see the "warning" you include with THAT kit.)

VERY nice job and I love the photos. Its scarey just to LOOK inside those Ampeg beasts.

Yeah, I'd have to forbid you from touching certain areas of the amp all together. It takes five minutes to discharge all the caps in those things.

How about an SVT DIY kit?? That would be insane.

My bass player is loving this amp. It goes very well with his '69 8-10 cab. That thing came with three strap handles on one side! Too funny.

Here's some pics of tonight's gig. Plenty of great gear on our stage.
Check out my amp (on the left) with no head box.

Bass player's got a pretty funny shot there!! I see you have an amp with no case around it. What amp is that?

The amp with no case is just my most recent build.
I still haven't got head cases in from Mojo. :x

The dudes over at the Plexi Palace forums seem to rave about stuff from vibroworld. They make reproducition speaker cabs for Fender, Mashall, Vox...etc. They also make cases for Marshall. I don't know how their pricing compares to mojo though, but i'd just thought that i would mention it.
