Reading through the youtube clip, I thought he used shinrock trannies? (oh, wait. That's the right link) He personally has good tone. That goes a long way.... Sure, the sum of the parts are important(seems he threw some mustards in there), but not nearly as important as the guy sitting in front of the amp. Either way, tone to spare....(I think Electricskychurch may have a very similar build compared with a RS)

Do a shinrock search in the forum before ordering..... Some valuable info floating around.

Hello

You are right, but there is a new video

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=swn8HakS0_M" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

and personally I have never heard such a great tone, especially from an 18 watter recorded at home

Kind regards

Im telling you im a freaking asshole snob bitch when it comes to saying who is a real guitar player and who is just technical player with no soul. Believe me when I say this guy is the best guitar player in the world. He is undiscovered, all he needs to do is write a few epic songs. With his ability to improvise I guarantee he could very easily write something like Comfortabley numb or the like.

Speaking of these transformers............. uh, hummmm.....

Has anybody here dealt with Ingo (owner I assume)???
I ordered one of his 18 watt trannies back in early July
and haven't heard back since! I've tried email, PayPal
dispute center and still no reply!
Anybody know of any problems????

Otherwise I would suggest you wait to see what the deal is
before sending your money!

Take a look over at 18watt.com and search for Shinrock Transformers, Ingo's previous incarnation.

That's should be all you need to know.

Wow! A long and interesting story!!
I would highly recommend that anyone interested in one of Ingo's transformers
should read all of the search results for Ingo, Shinrock Transformers, etc. over
at the 18 Watt community and make up your own mind as to whether or not
you have the time to wait for one of his trannies.

Looks like I'm in for a wait. :|

That sucks.

Reminds me of Ampwares.
Most everybody had learned that the guy was totally undependable but there was always a new guy that would post and ask how long it should take to get parts.....
Apparently they would eventually get there stuff but sometimes a month or more frequently a couple months would go by.

His store and website disappeared a while back and Mojo got the Amp Field guide.

Never did understand how anybody could operate a business like that. :?
Tom

Don't let that smoke out!

Oh it may be worse than a couple of months!
You're right it definitely sucks.

I'm lucky I don't have an immediate need, but I thought I would give a heads up to those who might need
a transformer yesterday.

Great news, I just got a DHL shipping number from Ingo!
It's on the way 8)
Not as bad as I was getting ready for! Definitely better than some
items out there.

So my story goes...... order in first week of July and get a shipment
by middle of August. I'm happy enough. Now let's see how long the
shipping takes!
