Fleetwood Mac: Live in Boston.

Post by ohmygodtheykilledkenny » Wed Apr 07, 2010 10:23 am

Boys (and girls, I know there are a few of yous), I've procured a copy of the above show in .flac format. It's 3 volumes, and it's phenomenol. The kinda thing that I'll never get tired of.

I'm sure that a fair number of you Greeny fans have it in some form, but for those of you who have never experienced it, or who'd like it in a higher quality format....shoot me a pm, and I'd be more than happy to hook any of the forum bros up. Great songs, some killer jams, and sick tone all around.

Travis

(edit: a few songs of volume 3 have some skips, nothing really bad, just a warning)

Mmmm, real busy with finals in school, so my appearances have been rather limited. When I'm not at school, I'm working, and when I'm not working I'm hunting for a better job.

Currently finishing up 2 papers, one about the impact of the social climat in the U.S.A. on the popularity of the Ku Klux Klan, the other about different phenomena that have influenced consumerism in the 20th century.

I've kinda been lurking, but I haven't had much to contribute since my playing/ tone chasing has temporarily been put on hold.

Landed a great summer job though, full time pay with a 4 day weekend, off by seven pm when i do work. 8)

3 more days and the tone chasing begins anew.

Surprisingly yeah, the KKK is still around, though it's really a shadow of what it was. It's not really a hot topic anymore, since there're only a few thousand members left (compare that to around 5 million at the peak in 1924), but it's an interesting phenomenon to learn about. What I've summed up from my reading is that because of globalisation in media, and the necessity of political correctness, the KKK no longer has anyone legitimate backing them, unlike in their heyday when you could tie tons of politicians and law enforcement agents to them.

PM'd you Dave.

I wouldn't say I'm a true racist, but I would definately admit that I'm prejudiced. Just one the those things, I guess it's the environment you're in.

At risk of this becoming too political in public (he he), feel free to PM me if you wanna have a further discussion on the subject of racism and prejudice, could be a cool conversation.

PS Any other takers? I can almost guarantee that you'll enjoy it.
