New Cables
Hey guys, looking for some better cable than the free ones I have. I use lots of pedals, so someting that's pretty good. I like the look of the coiled from guitar to pedals, but don't really care between the pedals. Maybe something low pf would be good. Recommendations?

I used to use cheap stuff but in all honesty you buy Monster cables once and you own it for life. Free replacement if they ever break.

Re: New Cables
I've heard some good things about Monster cable, but I probably need low pf cause of all the pedals
I also really like the coiled and I don't know if Monster does those, I'll check.

Coiled cables are usually high capacitance.

Re: New Cables
Man I bought some really cheap coil cables - theyre cool and were like 10 feet for 6 or 7 bucks. The truth is they get tangled when you have them wrapped up with all your other cables for transport, and I had a solder joint break on one. They sell short little pedal connecter cables at guitar center or sometimes people use those George L cables (I think thats what theyre called) and its usually a make it yourself kind of thing - you get connectors and a long bit of cable that you cut to length. Or sometimes I've seen metal connectors that have no cable at all its just like male connectors back to back.

I've been using Death Valley Cables - high quality, sound great and reasonably priced.

Re: New Cables
I saw this article about Hendrix using a 2000+pf cable. It was interesting, but probably not for me. I'm just looking for a low pf high quality vintage style coiled cable. I've checked out some of the links you guys have posted, but I want to make sure I check all my options first.

You might want to check the Lava retro coil cables...CrazyNinja8730 wrote:I'm just looking for a low pf high quality vintage style coiled cable.
