I installed and Biased some NOS SIemens EL34s I got recently out of the VIntage Guitar magazine. These tubes sound wonderful. Brilliant harmonics jumpo right out of my guitar! Nice warm tone. Spongey and fluid tone. These are the tubes that came stock in the Marshalls of old! I think they came in trhe 70s - 80s Marshalls til they went out of production. Got these for $120-quad set! Now thats a deal! Ive seen the same tubes else where for $140 a pair! Check em out if you can find some. I like these as much as the mullards at a quarter the price!!! Stringently matched as well by the guy i got them from! Good stuff. I also picked up some NOS RFT ECC83/12ax7s as well which were made at the same East German factory i think.
