These are chinese Sino's from the mid of the 90's and already have been used for a longer time.

On this tube you might see that, because they're already a bit dark between the two upper micas. That's like an indicator.

Some of the older Chinese-made 12AX7's really don't sound too bad though......yeah, they're bright, but not really in a harsh way, and they distort reasonably smoothly.......
If you see those big shiny silver pieces around the plate structure you'll know where they came from right off.
