Nice! I thought maybe you had a different mic added in because I thought I heard a bit more mids in this recording vs. your others. Good sound, for sure.

That sounds great, and so does the playing! I would say you've nailed the sound! On the previous sample, I thought it also sounded great and that you might have used a mic which had slightly different mids to it than the SM57 because I thought heard just a slight difference in the mids than what I usually hear from your tracks. You do a good job with your recordings as well. They always have a good sound with a nice quality to them. Thanks for sharing!

Re: S.I.R. 100W SuperLead Schematic pt. II
So finally got my buffered loop working properly so I could run an SRV-2000 through my amp. I now also have Z5U 100V MLCC caps in the 1st stage out peaker & bright cap positions. Snubbers are also KP1830 630V caps.
Clip: https://soundclick.com/r/s8bez5
SRV-2000 setting was based on Preset 10 but adjusted to 125ms pre delay, 2.3s reverb time, 0.35 hf damp, 50 output.

wow duke that last edited clip sounds dead on.
now that I have my amp dialed in and some great studio gear, time to make some clips of my own. time to practice up on the riffs first though........
got my amp on the bench checking her over.
happy to be back.
