Output tube socket flanges? Does it matter?

The instructions show the left hand output tube socket installed with the flange inside the chassis and the rectifier tube socket flange inside the chassis, but the right hand output tube socket flange is installed outside the chassis.

Does that make sense?

If it doesnt matter I think I'd like to install them all inside the chassis to make the top of the chassis look cleaner....

bvmjethead have a look to pictures on step 3 (page3). Here you can see that all flanges are inside of chassis. Always have a look to further steps too look ahead! Hope it helps for you?
