Re: Willing to draw up Marshall 4x12 blueprints
Hello
I think I found the file.
https://www.pdf-archive.com/2017/02/06/ ... ght-plans/
Is it the right one?
Does it exist also a 4X12 slant blueprint file?
Here are the files:
https://www.dropbox.com/sh/toi6s9aizjvq ... rrkqa?dl=0
but I am a little bit unsure about the slant angle and measure.
If you look at the "marshall 1960 4x12" pdf you see that the slant should be 11°, that the straight side should be 14 7/8" and that the top part should be 10 11/16" before roundover (which can be understood in two ways: before doing the roundover and before the beginning of the roundover. In the first case the side should be 10 11/16", in the second case 10 11/16" + 1").
1" of roundover radius seems too much to me...
If you draw this on a CAD software you'll find that they are not compatible.
Can someone confirm or correct theese measures?
Another question: the straight and slant sides should be equal or not?
Thank you so much

If the PDF for the Straight (1960b) cabinet plans are 728kb in size then it should be the correct plans.
As for the Slanted (1960a) plans, I never finished them.

Ok
Is it possible to have a pdf of what you have only to understand external dimensions?
Best regards

Re: Willing to draw up Marshall 4x12 blueprints
HelloExternal dimensions of a straight (1960b) cab or the slant (1960a) cab?
External dimensions of the 1960A (top and front dismensions as bottom and back are the same of 1960B).
Thank you

The dimension for the top seems to vary based on the answers I've received. I've gotten answers ranging from 10.34375" thru 11". My mockup drawing in AutoCad puts the dimension closer to 278mm (10.9448").

Re: Willing to draw up Marshall 4x12 blueprints
I started working again on the blueprints so hopefully I'll have a more definaite answer to your questions in a few days. In the mean time, this is what I currently have in my drawing:
For the top I have a 11" (279.5mm) dimension for the short side, and 11.125" (286mm) for the long side...This is due to the angle cut of approximately 11.7 degrees for the front angle of the cab. These dimensions are before the radius is applied.
From the bottom of the cab to the start of the angle I have 14.75" (374.7mm).

Do you have any update?

Sorry no update as of yet. The people who were supposed to verify my dimensions haven't got back to me.

Re: Willing to draw up Marshall 4x12 blueprints
First post here, thank you for the awesome work you put into those plans! I was wondering if the actual auto cad file is posted anywhere. I want to build the cab, and I have a place that will do all the cuts for me if I can get them the .dxf file. I'm willing to pay for it. Thanks!
