My full amp speqs...
This everything in my amp as it is now...
No brightcap on lead volume
v1b: .68u/2.7k, .0022u coupling
mixer: 470k/556pF
v2: .68/820 ohm
tonestack: 33k/556pF
PI: 82k bias resistors, .022 coulplings, 47pf fizz
Screen/choke voltage resistors: 10k+8.2k
NFB: 100k/16 ohm tap, 5k lin/.1u
Bias winding/circut: 33k, 10u bias caps
Polarity switch ( simulated, no switch, just the caps: .05u )
FILTERINGS:
preamp: 2x32u
PI: 2x50 ( bridged to 100u )
Screen: 32+32u
Mains: 2x50 + 2x50u ( each bridged to 100u )
CONTROLLS:
Vol I: 1M
Vol II: 1M
Treb: 250K
Mid: 25k
Bass: 1M
Presence: 5k lin
The reason I gave out the controlls is there's a bunch of amps that have 220k and 22k for treb and mids... and allso 22k/4.7k presence pot... but I guess that's more for the -70 heads... but anywho...
The voltages is allready out there... somewhere... I think they're in one of my video posts...
But here it is once again...
v1: 271v
v2: 287v
v3: 340-345v
B+: 476v
I think that's all that's in my amp... the rest you know, I think...

I know you don't use that side of the tube (Normal Input) but I'm just interested.

Re: My full amp speqs...
I've read that the E34L's had more bass, and given that most of us turn the bass control down, the EL34's look like a better choice for VH tones.Ralle wrote:Regular JJ EL34's and the preamptubes are a mix of used 12ax7'sKrinkle wrote:Forgot, two more questions

Re: My full amp speqs...
Is that DSD an older one with ceramic mag or one of the newer ones? I'm also thinking of buying one but want to know the difference between the old and new.Krinkle wrote:I just put a quad of JJ EL34's in my MA 12000 and a DSD in my Strat. It's a new one with the ceramic mag. I don't believe that there is a difference between old and new.

There’s 1K difference. Mine is around 13K.
It also don’t sound the same. Close but more open and brighter than one from 2010
