shannons guitarist had a metro 100 amp with 4x12,very very good tones indeed, the guitarist (whos name escapes me now) played a reverend most of the night but also pulled out a gibby es-175 and a strat..
fat juicy but crunchy plexi tones as i expected but the squeaky clean tones where the guitarist accompanied shannon alone for example (on a very personal song shannon wrote about a failed relationship) were SUPERB, bouncy sparkly just beautiful as good as the best fenders and voxes imo..
let me just say the "tone of the guitar" was there in spades as well, too many times i have heard marshalls where the amp sort of masked the tone of the guitar, not the case here when guitars were switched ...
well the band did a great performance, shannon sang her heart out and let me tell you i am very critical of singers guitarists but this girl is unreal and she has so many years to write songs and grow sheesh!!
shannon is a superb soloist too but i gotta tell you her 4x10 fenders were a bit overshadowed by that metropoulos 100 4x12!
actually the 4x12 may have been a bit too directional even in the outdoor knuckleheads saloon stage, but nothing a few beam blockers or a plexi shield wouldnt solve

oh, i got to chat with shannon a bit too very sweet girl, easy on the eyes too
