Just got my old guitar back!
I had this LP copy made by Fenix. These are up there with Tokai and Burny's and all that. It's closer to an LP custom. I sold it to a friend a couple years ago. But I knew he wasnt playing it because he mostly just sings in his band now. So I struck a deal and got it back tonight. He had jumbo strings on it for that "new metal feel", I felt sorry for this guitar. I hope he didnt hurt the guitar. Im takind it down to the guitar shop later this week to have them look at it and do the intonation and set up for 10-46 strings. I put some work into this thing about 4 years ago, new pups, and new 500k pots. A Duncan 59' in the bridge and Gibson something or other in the neck. I should probably put a new tailpiece and bridge on it too. Im frickin stoked to have this back! Now I have a Tokai Strat with evh duncan in bridge and this one.

Re: Just got my old guitar back!
Congrats!! I know the feeling well. I had a mid '60's candy apple red Gibson 335 for years, that I traded to someone. About 10 years later, I ran across a guy at a guitar show that wanted to trade HIS 335 for an old Gibson jazz L-10 that I had. Turned out that his 335 was my old CA red 335!!! I was so happy to get that guitar back. So of course, like an idiot, when the prices skyrocketed on those guitars, I sold it again so I could buy something else!! Oh, well... G.A.S. hard at work!!!Marshall Growl wrote:I had this LP copy made by Fenix. These are up there with Tokai and Burny's and all that. It's closer to an LP custom.
