Filter ground buss question

Post by gtomax » Wed Dec 19, 2007 2:01 pm

Well I've got the entire power and output section wired now. I was trying to figure out what to do with the filter cap ground. Here is the grounding so far:

HT through fuse to ground lug. Same ground lug has filament ground. That's where I connected the mains/screen/PI ground buss to.

Should that have its own ground lug instead (and if so, where?) or is that alright?

Found an answer on Aiken amp grounding FAQ that this is in fact an OK grounding scheme for the power side.

I will however re-route the B+ wires away from the main power wiring harness as I'd like to seperate AC and DC as much as possible.
