I've posted this before but this is a clip of me and some friends playing an impromptu Since I've Been Loving You through a LP goldtop with WCR Fillmores into a friend's JTM-45 clone at one of the NJ ampfests.

I went thru Stock PUP's , BB's, Fralin's, WCR DB's, Classic 57's & Skatterbranes.... I have Skatterbranes in one, and Classic 57's in the other... for my tastes the WCR DB's didn't cut it.... I know I am in the minority here but this was my opinion....

Re: WCR
Oh, yeah!! Not cause its my handle on this forum, but I love those pups. They kick ass, especially if you like Duane Allman's tone from the Fillmore East CD, and are using some sort of Plexi. Re: WCR
at first i didn't really like the DB bridge pu (without cover at that moment) in my les paul 59' ri as i felt it was having too much mids and output level, so i put it in a SG standard and it sounds much better.
that SG guitar isn't having the thick mids of my les paul 59' ri.
i tried the DB neck in the bridge position of that les paul 59' ri and had a very good tone as well, with more high end than the DB bridge (it's the first time i was not playing with my tone pot on 10 most of the time !) and less output and mids.
