This is a Hotplate economy German anarchist boutique version for poor students. The biggest advantage from this cardboard version: if the guy plays loud enough and long enough, the cardboard housing will catch fire and burn down at least this Hughes&Kettner novelty...

Hi guys,

obviously it's not NOS, only OS because it was used. Let me explain my personal version of the legend, please:
The rumor goes, that once it was owned by the formerly Scorpions bassplayer Francis Buchholz (he did also all the financial things for the band) to transport the Scorpions money to his own bank account 8) - that's the reason they fired him

It is best to use Lager resistant waxed cardboard only. I have found that if you don't they become conductive after only a few gigs.

Hi Andy,

the one shown in the picture is the indoor use version (IUV), of course.
It will be only become conductive when it rains on the stage during open air gigs. But in this case the warranty would be void...
I'm pretty shure that the outdoor pro version (OPV) uses the Lager resistant waxed cardboard, but it's way more expensive!

Regards

Robert
