Strats should allways have a neck pickup....rockstah wrote:turbo charged BOG! thats great!MacGaden wrote:I love it ! Where were you going at the end ? A little turbocharged BOG...?rockstah wrote:thanks man. * wankin* lol

At the end it sort of changes the feel in that direction...that swing.
Very nice to hear a different feel from you. I like your EVH, but the short, shirtless, video shows what great swing you have. This does too. Where can I find your SB specs ?

dual 32u preamp
16u screens

i like 32u here but still experimenting.
yeah that neck pickup is a must for some of the great strat tones.

Amen !rockstah wrote:yeah that neck pickup is a must for some of the great strat tones.

Is the guitar bleeding? I think you beat it up !

I think it's an awesome tone, no doubt !
For this tone my ears wanna hear slightly more mids.
I hear the woof and the sparkley high's but balance is off?
Dunno what exactly? Maybe play with the V1 tube?
Q:
4ohm tap - What would 8 sound like... more/less gain ?
16u screens - What effect would 32 or even 50's have... bass?
Tryin' to learn...

4ohm to 8ohm =less gain and is something i can do to get some more mids in the sound.
16 to 32u would be a tighter sound, stiffer compared to 16u in the feel of the amp.
to semi-quote a friend of mine...
take that one note,
squeeze it,...
bend it,...
shape it,...
contort it,...
but never, never give it any lovin...
abuse it,...
beat it up,...
it likes it.
its a tone u want to have to beat up.
