The local Shure mic rep stopped by yesterday. We're becoming a dealer soon, so we can provide SM57's and other Shure mics for making clips.
The rep also mentioned a new product that should be on the street in March. A USB interface that you plug your mic into and can make audio clips directly into the computer. They have made some improvements over the typical podcast POS interface. As soon as they have one we'll be doing some tests with a 57 right on the grill with a 100 non-master amp cranked.

Now if they could just make placing the 57 on the grill foolproof, they'd be positioned to make a killing.
