Metro 69/ No mods/ Heyboers, doing AC/DC

Post by Son of Skoora » Tue May 05, 2009 10:07 pm

Metro 69 SL kit build. Metro's Heyboer cloned trannies. Recorded through Powerbrake 2 clicks above load setting. Vol I about 2.5/3 Vol II the same. Running on outside pair of tubes only. Playing over For Those About To Rock. Mixed so you hear the Metro over the original guitars.

A 57 into a Motu Ultra Lite into Nuendo. Unfortunately the speaker could have been 1 of 4 different celestions I have in the cab. Greenback/G12H30/80/Boogie 90. It was 2 clicks above the load setting on a powerbrake. Used an 80's Gibson V with a Burstbucker 3.

Cool, Glad it helped. I'm waiting on a push pull 1 Meg from Weber so I can use Vol I to swith between 500pF and 5600pF on the brite cap. Go from 68/69 to 72 by grabbing the volume knob. I'm hoping this will help going from Fender to Gibson without having to re EQ the amp too much.
