Another efficient way to disperse heat well is to get 4 Arco resistors and wire them like a 4/12 cab on some heatsink. Taking your line out parallel from that works awesome. If you burn a resistor, your amp will still see a load so no worries.

I never heard of the Neunaber WET until now. That pedal sounds amazing. I haven't been satisfied with any reverb purchase in a long time. I am going to try that one. Is yours the stereo unit? Like dirtycooter, I have a wet/dry/wet set up this would be useful in. But my wet/dry/wet set up is with 212 cabs for portability.

Yeah I got the stereo one. The cool thing is that you can upload all kinds of cool stuff to the pedal, shimmer reverb or his amazing Stereo Chorus. Totally awesome.

Damn! Who anymore wants to buy a new marshall? You can get absolutely smoking heavenly clones like Metro if money isn't a problem, and if you are on a budget you can still get a lot better sounding stuff than the Marshall reissues thousand bucks cheaper

wicked...the essence is there for sure...talent has a lot to do with this, IMHO

...now the question I have has to do with that 2k-4k bite...how is that tamed??? Is it done by eq at post, or is it handled at the source?? On that sample, this bite is really strong and you would definately need to calm it down if you were mixing this in a song...I have the same problems with everything -- I hate clipping off the highs and, as a result, everything I record always sounds bitey and thin...

...I've recently bought the Nebula plugin's that are wicked convolution library's of the API 550a's and the filters on them do an amazing job at taming the high end bite -- because on the records, that high end is definately not there...
