I modded it myself[/quote]
Did you use the #34 mod specs that Santiago gave to the forum? (I'd post the schematic I'm talking about, but somethings wrong with the site and it hasn't allowed anyone to attach files to their posts)

It is the layout that has 2200 pF // 470 K peaker combo on the pre-amp gain pot. Coffeetones suggested some changes and I tried many different component values which sounded the best.

Use the SRV Fizz control explained a few hundred pages ago
The SRV PA reverb add fizz if it’s not controlled by the built in function.
Also make sure you have done factory reset (hold a couple of switches at power up or something like that) and that level on rear panel is at the mark.
The fizz control is sensitive so just pull a little and see what happens.
To much and it kills the chime/jangly tone

a quick search reveals the fizz control is the shift 6 or output of the reverb. its just basically controls how much reverb that patch is going to be mixed in.
i need a patch or setting that can put my dry signal "infront" of teh mix while the wet signal "at the background".
i believe that is how AFD tone reverb was achieved so as to preserve the original tone and just creates spaciousness without muddiing.
SCOM is different but i still do hear like 10% dry signal in the mix.

That damn search function is down.
Here are my old notes
Check setting on rear panel. Set on "dot/marking"
Then control fizz with output control on the switch to the right of the display.
"Most used due to the fact that blend is on rear panel and not something you use in a rack mounting.
So output control helps me with sizzle control."
Btw did you try the secret Delay function hidden in the SRV?
Hold 3 buttons and hit power and it will power up as delay

I really think the whole spirit of this forum has been lost. Really? Someone states that may have made a breakthrough regarding the #34 mod; actually found something that's been alluding everyone here for more than 635 pages, and all you can talk about is "reverb", and "look what I can play"?
I'm going to focus on a new forum that I have started, which will talk about all things 'pertinent' to the actual #34 mod.
Good luck everyone, and keep those recordings coming!

I just checked my PM in box, and for some reason or another I don't have a PM from you...
I only have one person that has PM'd me since June of last year.
