metroplex low gain mod "retroplex"
Anyone know exactly what this mod does compared to the stock version? I bought the low gain modded version from Cliff at DAG. no 048. on his advice based on what type of music I play. He calls it the Retroplex. had not heard the stock metroplex other than the awesome videos on youtube and DAG website of the stock metroplex. I love my low gain modded one (at least the 1 day so far that I've had it lol) and am getting awesome zepellin and ac/dc tones out of it. Just was trying to figure out what this mod turns the stock one into, and ditto on the mod channel etc. and if there is a setting that puts it close to the stock versions tones as well. Maybe George can chime in on this one. thanks for any info!!

Re: metroplex low gain mod "retroplex"
People were buying the MP and sending it back for less gain and better clean tones. So I worked up a low gain version and based the PLEXI mode on my 45/100. MOD mode was the '68 Superlead tone, but tweaked to clean up better with th guitar volume.
Cliff has been calling this version the Retroplex, but I think th Metro-Plex should do all the great plexi tones. I'm woking to incorporate each voicing into the amp.
