Its hard to hear your guitar in the mixes. Do you have guitar only tracks. Sounding good though

Sounds really good. You could use a touch more gain and a little more presence. I like it 8)

I think I will only upload Welcome To The Jungle's guitar track. All the others were so sloppily played :D

Here it is:

http://soundclick.com/share.cfm?id=13299133

Still muddy as hell but I think it is the best that I have done so far.

My amp settings were:

Added gain: 8
Gain: 4
Volume: 1.5
Treble: 4
Middle: 1.5
Bass: 6
Presence: 0
PPIMV: 10

Celestion G12M 25W speakers with a Shure Sm57 two cm's away from the grill cloth on the cap's edge with a very slight off axis.

I also took a screenshot of my Reaper settings:

http://maihinnousu.net/dyn/gallery/f/4241.jpg

The upper frequency curve is mine and the lower curve is Slash's taken right away when Axl would start singing Welcome to the jungle we got fun n' games. Looks pretty much the same? I guess I will adjust the amp settings, mic position and the Equalizer in Reaper next.

yes, JVM sounds good but its WAY TO FAR from even a 2203x.

Crunch channel seems to work best for mid gain settings, very open. The other channels, i dont know what marshall was thinking about....

So,guys i what make sir36, what are the speck? I think to do this:
Shield trick(what size?)
V1a 820r/.68uf(in my opinion sound better than 2.7k/.68uf)
Treble peak 2200p/470k and no bright cap.
47k resistor on v1b grid,v1b stock 10k
Second treble peak standard
On V0 grid 100k and v0 10k/.1uf
Voltage divider 470k/470k(like a gain pot in the middle position)
V2a 820r/.68uf and snubber 1000p
Presence .1uf
Nfb 100k
6550 48 ma biased, tap on 4ohm
What do you think?
